Welcome to Sacred Heart's Faith Formation Page!

Welcome Letter:

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This message is to address Faith Formation at Sacred Heart this year. Please read the linked letter from Bishop Burbidge dated September 20, 2020. His letter clarifies our Diocesan approach to developing the faith within our families.

As we are all aware, the health and welfare of our families is a strong concern for everyone.

Based on the current conditions our pastor, Fr. Mike, and the Faith Formation Office have decided to require that classes take place at home with parents as the teachers of their children.

We appreciate all those who have served as catechists in previous years and hope they remain available to return to teaching when conditions change.

Each grade level will have books for the children. Parents will have an online home learning guide to help them. The website for the guide will be available along with a resource for parents to assess the progress of their children's learning.

We in the Faith Formation Office also remain available to assist you in any way we can.

Faith Formation classes begin the week of October 25, 2020. We ask that all classes begin that week and lessons continue each week thereafter.

Please keep a log of which lesson you taught each week so we can identify common concerns and help alleviate any problems you may encounter. We expect to request a copy of your log several times throughout the year.

God Bless you as you continue to share your faith with your family.

Fr. Edwin Seh, Director of Faith Formation
