Troop 608

The Troop 608’s mission is to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Our goals are to have fun and adventure in the outdoors. Membership is available to all boys who have reached the age of 11 through 17 yrs. The troop meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., in the parish hall.

Join the Troop: come to the Wednesday night meetings in the church hall downstairs.

Meetings: 7:00 PM Opening - begins with a flag ceremony.  Meeting activities include Merit Badge instructions, outdoor skills building, individual patrol time for administrative actions, and a sports activity if time permits.   Finally, at the Closing - we traditionally recognize birthdays and awards to emphasize spirit and accomplishments. The Troop also supports monthly outdoor activities including canoeing trips, camping, boating, water skiing, etc. that serve to expose the boys to a broad set of fun outdoor interests. Adults are encouraged to register and become active with the troop enabling a great opportunity for quality time with your son, and also have some fun!
